We are delighted to be able to re-open the hotel from 17th May. The welfare of our guests and our staff is always our first priority. When you are able to visit us again, you can do this feeling assured that we have in place all the precautions to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and keep you and your loved ones safe.

The Pointers Inn

A short drive to Newchurch and you will find the lovely pub, The Pointer Inn, run by Landlord and Lady, Robert and Rachel. They invite you to join them in one of the oldest, most historic pubs on the Isle of Wight. The Pointer is known for outstanding beer and mouth-watering locally sourced food.

Local produce is the focal point of their menu, with most of our delicious dishes crafted from fresh Isle of Wight ingredients. The Master Cellarman Award assures you of a perfect pint of cask ale every time.

Offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, the beer garden is heavenly in summer. A great place to rest after rambling or cycling through the local area.
